Check Out This Weeks Brand New Music from Eurovision Artists!

As we head in to August, the new music from our favourite Eurovision & National Final artists does not seem to be slowing down! Check out some of the hottest releases of the past week and make sure to give our Spotify + YouTube playlists a look below.

Chingiz Mustafayev – Bir sözlə (Azerbaijan 2019)

Chingiz was internally represented to perform for Azerbaijan earlier this year at the Eurovision Song Contest & his song ‘Truth’ was a well-produced indie-pop track. ‘Bir sözlə’ fits a lot more with Chingiz’ previous discography. A string-instrument led song with traditional Azerbaijani additions which transcends from an acoustic track to an uptempo pop song. Definitely worth a listen!

Jessica Mauboy – Just Like You (Australia 2018)

Popstar Jessica Mauboy is one of the biggest names in the Australian music industry and her latest release, ‘Just Like You’, is a powerful ballad about love. Jessica’s unique tone really adds volume to the emotional track and we are loving this just like you.

Maruv – Mezhdu nami (Ukraine 2019)

Maruv won Vidbir – the Ukrainian national final – however her winning song ‘Siren Song’ never made it to Eurovision due to the country withdrawing. Her new release, ‘Mezhdu nami’, has the signature Maruv sounds whilst bringing a more urban vibe to her sultry dance-pop music.

Gromee – Love You Better (Poland 2018)

DJ and Music Producer Gromee represented Poland last year along with singer Lukas Meijer with the catchy dance track. He’s now back with his next release which also has us wanting to head straight out to a club. ‘Love You Better’ is a very radio-friendly dance-pop song with female-led vocals and has already seen commercial success in Poland. Gromee has been playing at music festivals recently, so make sure not to miss him!

Douwe Bob – Summer In Your Eyes (Netherlands 2016)

Dutch singer-songwriter Douwe Bob is back with this upbeat and summery foot-tapper! ‘Summer In Your Eyes’ is the type of song that you can imagine hearing in a movie when the main character is driving back to their love or whilst watching a romantic sunset. Either way, it should definitely be the latest addition to your summer playlists as we get closer to the end of summer!

Amaia – Quedará En Nuestra Mente (Spain 2018)

Amaia represented Spain last year at Eurovision after winning hit-show ‘Operación Triunfo’ and has now a year later started to release more original music. Her new release is a chilled out mid-tempo ballad and her voice flows so nicely with the tune. We are very excited to see what’s next for Amaia!

Nadav Guedj – 38 מעלות (Israel 2015)

He was only young when took to the Eurovision stage but his success on the European stage catapulted Nadav Guedj to be one of Israel’s biggest music stars. His new track is filled to the brims with Hebrew funk in a jazz/soul inspired pop number.

Sevak – В последний раз (Armenia 2018)

Sevak Khanagyan has released a new song and guys, it’s a total banger! Very different to his Eurovision song ‘Qami’, this song is a trance-like dance-pop number. We’re a little shocked at how good Sevak actually sounds on this track, and can’t wait for more releases like this!

Mohombi – My Love (Sweden NF 2019)

International popstar Mohombi said ‘Hello’ to us all at this years Melodifestivalen where he qualified directly for the final. His follow-up single ‘My Love’ is another tropical pop banger. Commercial and radio-ready, this is a must on all holiday playlists.

D’Sound, Armi Millare – Somewhere In Between (Norway NF 2019)

D’Sound burst in to our hearts with Melodi Grand Prix song ‘Mr Unicorn’ earlier this year. They reached the Superfinal but ultimately lost to KEiiNO who went on to win the televote at the Eurovision final. Teamed up with Armi Millare, ‘Somewhere In Between’ is a slower and softer track but allows singer Mirjam’s vocals to really shine.

lilly among clouds – Look At The Earth (Germany NF 2019)

Alternative-pop singer lilly among clouds gained a lot of fans earlier in the year when she appeared in the German National Final. Her new track ‘Look At The Earth’ has an epic feel to it, with her unique vocals keeping us interested from start to finish. It feels like almost a throwback to Florence + the Machine’s earlier music, the epic instrumentals lead to an extravagant chorus.

Lina Hedlund – Deeper Love (Sweden NF 2002, 2003 & 2019)

The second appearance by Lina recently, coming off her appearance at Stockholm Pride last weekend where she got the party started! Pop icon Lina is back with ‘Deeper Love’ – a great Scandi-pop song with a catchy tune and inviting lyrics that will have you singing along before the end of the first listen!

Lola Indigo, Don Patricio – Lola Bunny (Spain NF 2018)

Lola Indigo has shown the world that being an early exit from a talent competition is not the end of your career! Lola’s latest collaboration with Don Patricio ‘Lola Bunny’ is a sexy reggaeton party banger. She has mastered the latin sounds and has us all wanting to fly out to a Spanish beach! Fans will also want to check out the newly released music video for this party anthem.

High15 – Armour (Sweden NF 2019)

Girl-group High15 debuted at this years Melodifestivalen and despite failing to make it out of the heat managed to pick up a lot of traction. New release ‘Armour’ is a slower track however still a solid slice of scandi-pop. The song allows the girls to show off their vocals a bit more than their Melfest entry whilst providing a smooth chorus.

Omar Rudberg – på min telephone toda la noche (Sweden NF 2019)

Originally appearing as part of boyband FO&O, Omar has really taken us to his Venezuelan roots with his recent releases. The latest is no different, a latin-influenced, modern-sounding bop which is really taken to the next level with his soulful vocals.

Aisha – Моё сердце [DJ Airbuzz Radio Remix] (Latvia 2010)

Very different to her Eurovision song, the DJ Airbuzz Radio Remix of Aisha’s latest song is very modern sounding! The house/dance track is club ready and will certainly be getting lots of radio airplay over the summer. Fans can also check out the dub remix too.

Daði Freyr – Ég Er Að Fíla Mig (Langar Ekki Að Hvíla Mig) (Iceland NF 2017)

Iceland’s Daði Freyr very almost flew the Icelandic flag back in 2017 however lost out to Svala at the very end of the national selection. His latest release is absolute synth-pop heaven! Fans should also make sure to check out his YouTube channel for some incredible covers, including of Harry Potter themes!

Alfonso La Cruz – Nadie Te Va A Querer (Spain NF 2019)

Last but not least … Alfonso was eliminated at the very start of last years ‘Operación Triunfo’ but following Lola Indigo’s lead has released this utter banger of a song! The reggaeton dance track is nothing like what he performed on the show but oozes cool and it’s exciting to think of what is next for Alfonso.

To make your new music listening even easier, we’ve set up a Spotify and a YouTube Playlist – check them out below.

Make sure to come back next week for even more new music from Eurovision & National Final artists across Europe (and Australia!).
