Eurovision 2024 Semi Final 2 predictions

The second semi final of the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest is taking place tonight! 16 acts will compete in tonight’s semi final, hoping to get one of the remaining 10 tickets that lead to Saturday’s Grand Final.

We followed the rehearsals closely, and a total of 10 of our team members tried to predict which of the 16 acts competing tonight will qualify for the Grand Final – not necessarily the ones we want to qualify. Here’s how our team predicts tonight’s results…

All of us believe they are through to the Final…

Just like in Semi Final 1, our team members all agree on only two acts. This time those two are ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญ Switzerland and ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑ Netherlands. The odds are also in their favour, and thus Nemo, as well as Joost Klein should be sailing through to the Final.

Most of our team members predict they’re through to the Final…

Right behind our top two we find a total of four acts with 9 out of 10 of our team members predicting they will qualify tonight. Those are: ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ท Greece’s Marina Satti, ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ช Estonia’s 5miinust x Puuluup, ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ Israel’s Eden Golan, and ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ด Norway’s Gรฅte. Considering they are all pretty high in the odds, as well as big fan favorites, none of these four acts should have any issues qualifying in tonight’s show.

Further four acts got 7 of our team members convinced that they are going through: ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡น Austria’s Kaleen, ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ฒ Armenia’s Ladaniva, ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ช Georgia’s Nutsa Buzaladze, and ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ช Belgium’s Mustii.

Borderline…

We jump down from an act predicted by 7 people, to an act predicted by only 4 people, which overall then is just below the qualification line… Even though it’s quite a distance, we won’t write them off just yet. And that is – ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡น Malta’s Sarah Bonnici. She is followed by another two acts that 3 of our team members believe they will qualify: ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฟ Czechia’s Aiko, as well as ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฒ San Marino’s Megara. Whether they stand a chance or not – we will see, and we will not be surprised if any of them make it through.

Our team members predict they’re out…

On the bottom of our list we find three acts, and each of them convinced only two of our team members – they are ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ฑ Albania’s Besa, ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ฐ Denmark’s Saba, and ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ป Latvia’s Dons. Even though all three are very powerful performances, all three seem to be very static on stage, which could be the reason why we don’t see them qualify tonight. But who knows, we may be very wrong!

Full list

If we would put this into a full ranking 1st to last, this is how it would look like:
